Project Revitalize - What's New

  • The Lakeview Hospital Outpatient and Inpatient Pharmacies have moved. They are now located on the main floor across from the Hulings Education Center. The larger, remodeled space features an expanded over-the-counter product selection. Hours for the Outpatient Pharmacy are 9 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday.
  • Mechanical and electrical work on the Mechanical Room addition is ongoing. Seal coating of new asphalt is underway, to be followed by parking space striping. Landscaping is also underway, but has been hindered by weather the past couple of weeks.
  • Patient room remodeling – 2C is completed and opened. Asbestos abatement has begun in 1A, and demolition will begin once that is completed. The overall schedule has been moved out a little to allow adequate time for asbestos removal and transition from phase to phase. Demolition and construction is expected to take about two and a half months, with a move in scheduled around Aug. 26. The next phase (1B) is projected to be complete by Nov. 19; 1C is projected at Feb. 24, 2011.
  • Some of the mechanical work for Physical Medicine, Laboratory, etc. has begun, coinciding with work in 1A. Final scheduling of the remaining work of this phase has not been completed, but estimates suggest a Sept. 16 completion date.
  • Mechanical and electrical work for Phase 1 of the Surgery expansion/renovation is ongoing. Sheetrock and taping is complete and painting has begun. Millwork, ceiling grid and ceramic tile still needs to be done. New sterilizer equipment will be installed next week. The current schedule shows a move in date of July 9 for phase 1; phase 2 is scheduled to begin July 12 with a move in on Aug. 18. Completion of all four phases of the Surgery project is projected for Jan. 4, 2011.
